responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using the latest web technologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other engineers to develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications

• Continuously optimize and improve web application performance to ensure fast page load times and smooth user experiences

• Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and best practices, and apply them to improve the development process and drive innovation

• Ensure high availability and scalability of your product areas

• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences

• Manage the overall product process with the broader team, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and maintenance, and contribute to the development of project plans and schedules.

requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web applications using the latest web technologies

• Strong proficiency in one or more modern web development frameworks

• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development, and experience integrating with third-party APIs

• Knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms, and experience applying them to solve complex problems

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and with agile software development methodologies

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Experience with building video editing products on the web is a huge plus

• Passion for learning and working in a fast paced environment at an early stage company

Compensation Range: $120K - $160K
