We are looking for a motivated, creative, teamplayer for this position. As a Software Developer, you will develop, code, test and debug new software, and makes enhancements and improvements to existing software. Works with IS personnel to understand and resolve employee process issues, software requirements, and software problems. May assist with various Information Systems projects that require a high level of technical expertise.
This is a hybrid position working Monday- Friday with 3 days from home and 2 in the office located in East Taunton, MA and will be relocating to Dedham, MA in the fal
Responsibilities:
Working with a team of Information System personnel, you will work to understand and resolve employee process issues, software requirements, and problems. Some responsibilities are:
Creates new software applications and utility programs, modifies current applications and utility programs as necessary- Programs user interfaces, database objects (e.g. triggers, stored procedures, views, temp tables), and middle layer/business logic
- Writes and develops code for programs by creating and modifying flow charts
- Conducts program tests prior to implementation to ensure success and accuracy; performs debugging procedures as necessary
- Supports end-users after implementation with software related problems
- 1-3 years previous computer programming experience
- Strong knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft .NET
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of standard software development tools and applications
- Advanced computer proficiency
