Pro Turf Lawn & Garden Center is an established, family-owned outdoor power equipment retail store located in Goldsboro, North Carolina. We provide repair, sales, and service of outdoor power equipment to Goldsboro and the surrounding communities. Our featured brands include Echo, Husqvarna,Bad Boy, and Toro. We operate both a parts counter and repair center and repair most mower brands.
Currently, we are seeking to fill a full-time position in our service department. We need somebody who is dependable, energetic, and trustworthy, and who can come to work with a willingness to listen and learn. Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience working in a retail parts environment preferably at an outdoor power equipment store but including an automobile, power sports, or tractor dealership
• In lieu of experience, ability to understand parts diagrams and outdoor power equipment parts (If you understand this, we can teach the rest.)
• Ability to drive a pickup truck and 18 foot trailer is not required but would be helpful

Essential Job Functions

• Must be detail oriented and have good organizational and communication skills
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift heavy objects and be on the move intermittently for shifts of at least 8 hours ·
• Proficiency in English speaking, reading and writing skills
• Adaptability to frequently changing environments ·
• Ability to work in stressful situations ·
• Computer literate ·
• 1-2 Years related mechanical experience
• Lift 50 pounds
• Assist other employees in pushing mowers inside and outside of a retail storefront and on and off customers' trailers

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour
