Peraton is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals.
Day to Day Work Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operation of a site/base plant.
- Includes start-up, control and shutdown of equipment for efficient, economical and environmental standards.
- Oversees the maintenance, repair, construction and operation of all assigned systems and supporting infrastructure.
- Includes responsibility for work control, planning, infrastructure, and facilities support and plant operations.
- Responsible for maintenance, repair, construction and operation of facilities to insure cost effective and reliable support.
- Identifies all infrastructure work required to include: HVAC, fire suppression, electrical distribution, power generators, lighting etc. Direct management of support subcontractors.
- Assists the headquarters in development of strategy and operational level site facilities planning; yearly production work load planning; yearly resource and budget planning; and other managerially requirements as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS Degree and 10 to 12 years’ experience or MS degree with 8 to 10 years’ experience or a high school diploma/equivalent with minimum 14 years’ experience
- At least 4 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Experience managing experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Must have experience planning, conducting, and supervising assignments, generally involving larger and more important projects or multiple projects.
- Experience with evaluating and determining changes in methods or procedures in assigned area of responsibility.
