Site Operations Manager

Reports To: Vice-President, Operations

Status: Salaried, Exempt

Position Location: Bowman, SC

Position Overview:

The Site Operations Manager oversees the launch and then continued running of our new operational Facility in Bowman. This role will operate in a transitional capacity as the new facility gets up and running. Initially, this manager will be the on-site point of contact to plan, organize and direct the needs of projects to get the new facility from its current state into a fully operational hub for our family of companies. Beyond that point, this individual will operate as the lead manager for this site. Multiple divisions of the company will use the facility for the needs of their individual tasks. The Site Operations Manager will oversee the completion of various jobs and coordinate with other leaders to support the needs of the South Carolina Region.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all phases of establishing our new base of operations in Bowman, SC.
• Manage the daily needs to get the site cleaned up and ready to function as a multi-use site for material storage, precast operations, maintenance, and overall support for the SC region.
• Coordinate the Contacting and direction of construction and clean-up projects on site. Act as the point of contact for any contracted work.
• General property management, and ensuring the grounds are maintained once set up.
• Manages projects and approves or facilitates purchases as needed; negotiates related pricing contracts and verifies costs and receipts.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a management role.
• Thorough understanding of construction processes.
• Experience in the highway commercial and heavy highway construction industry preferred.
• Experience in property management is preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to assign and delegate tasks.
• Experience in long and short-term planning.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
