Site Merchandising Specialist

Location: Tracy, California

Status: Full-time

Compensation: $70k-$75k

Zinus seeks a strategically minded Site Merchandising Specialist to join our rapidly growing team. This role will be an excellent fit for someone with a proven track record of growth with Ecommerce businesses, who is ready for their next step working with strategic retailers.

The Site Merchandising Specialist will assist in growing in-store and digital business to achieve the annual sales, profit, and inventory goals. This role will report to the Senior Merchandising and Operations Manager, supporting one/multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• 
  Item creation and maintenance of online and in-store assortment.
• Manages retailer portal importing and exporting of information, such as pricing updates, catalog downloads and maintenance, promotional entries, etc.
• Manages catalog assortment and new product introductions, initiating the consumer ratings & review process, verifying content and digital assets are published, and maintenance/updates of PDPs.
• Work with product development and retailer to assist in product/category gap creation.
• Assist in gathering competitive analysis of items/categories and retail pricing ladders.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and presentation internally and externally of sales, drivers, opportunities, etc. Eloquently deliver story of reasons for miss/hit of goals with actionable steps being taken in the business.
• Takes initiative in the role by identifying opportunities in the business and presenting ideas to manager and cross-functional teams.
• Continuously curious about ways to get involved in varying aspects of the company.
• Support in building and creating retailer presentations for business reviews and various account meetings.
• Provide support to other areas of the business, as needed.
• Track and coordinate samples/costing, for both internal and account reviews.
• Manage day-to-day internal cross-functional communication to identify opportunities and maximize growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification & Skills

• Bachelor's degree OR 2-4 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related areas
• Item and ecommerce content creation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be naturally proactive in problem resolution.
• Must be well-versed with all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Power Point.
• Exude confidence and professionalism in working with account.
• Organized and disciplined and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be able to function effectively and independently in both a remote and office environment.
• Possesses a "can / will do" approach to the business.
