Job description
- Preparation of construction documents, reports and specifications for various land development and construction projects.
- Field work and inspections of various construction projects, preferably with a NICET Level III or IV certification. The desired candidate would have 3-4 years of experience in inspection of infrastructure projects such as the construction of water mains, sanitary sewers, street drainage and paving, including the testing of materials and structural building inspections. Inspections ensuring compliance with Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans may occasionally be required
- Interfacing with clients by phone, in writing and in person; communicating and establishing expectations.
- Coordinating and managing their daily activities/scheduling of various assigned projects.
- Conduct project coordination with various agencies and departments.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Manage daily schedules and activities in a timely and professional manner.
- Acquisition of permits and approvals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- FE/EIT Certification
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with HydroCAD, HEC-RAS and Geo-RAS helpful.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid organizational and time management skills.
- Self-disciplined/motivated individual who also works well in a team environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- The ideal candidate would have experience via an internship with a reputable Engineering company. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
