Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries, Los Angeles’s premier Jewish cemetery and mortuary is seeking a Full-Time Floater for Client Services and Service Departments at our Simi Valley location. The Mount Sinai team is dedicated to serving the community with compassion and empathy.

To provide outstanding customer service to our clients in the front lobby. Also managing vehicle and crowd control; providing information and directions. Providing coverage for the front lobby, assisting with service and flowers, along with booth coverage as needed. Other duties as assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Directing people and vehicles to appropriate destinations; responding to general inquiries; distributing Mt. Sinai maps.

● Reviews daily service itineraryby confirming times and locations of services; preparing for daily assignments.

● Contributes to team effortby accomplishing related results as needed.

● Directing clients to the appropriate resource personnel.

● Managing difficult situations when they occur and being able to use good judgment.

● Providing great customer service in the front lobby by warmly greeting and welcoming clients and park guests to Mount Sinai at the time of need.

● Assisting clients, vendors and the general public with requests for information on property locations, funeral services or any other requests they may have.

● Directing incoming phone calls and providing great customer service to clients, service guests, funeral industry vendors and all other callers.

● Processing mail for all Mount Sinai departments, including weighing & posting mail, as well as sending out FedEx, UPS, inter-office mail, etc.

● Maintaining and restocking supplies in the kitchen and coffee stations as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
