    JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

      Executes program(s) that meet the needs of the organization, employees and/or customers. Plans, initiates, oversees execution of all elements for assigned program(s). Leads the development, implementation, and management of assigned program(s) and associated projects. Oversees process from planning to completion. Works with multiple internal teams, vendors, clients. Responsible for explaining, training, and mentoring the entire organization on the program. Collaborates with SHS system experts to ensure focus, alignment, and best practices for the program.

      Accountable for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Materials Program for the OHA-CCO Contract, CMS-Medicare Advantage Contract, and the OHA/CMS-Dual Special Needs Contract.

      Develops and maintains an all-inclusive list of materials that are required.

      Identifies, develops, and manages materials used by the organization. Collaborates with stakeholders within the organization to ensure all letters the organization is utilizing are compliant with regulations.

    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
      Samaritan Health Plans (SHP) operates a portfolio of health plan products under several different legal structures: InterCommunity Health Plans, Inc. (IHN) is designated as a regional Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) for Medicaid beneficiaries; Samaritan Health Plans, Inc. offers Medicare Advantage, Commercial Large Group, and Commercial Large Group PPO and EPO plans; SHP is also the third-party administrator for Samaritan Health Services’ self-funded employee health benefit plan. As part of an Integrated Delivery System, Samaritan Health Plans is strategically and operationally aligned with Samaritan Health Services’ mission of Building Healthier Communities Together.
    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
    • Five (5) years experience in a health-related field required.
    • Experience managing initiatives, projects and programs required.
    • Experience and/or training in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software, required.
    • Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
