To build upon a track record of growth and success, we are seeking a Shop Technician in Noblesville, IN. This person will be responsible for day to day work activities to support and complete the repair, refurbishment and general maintenance of the supported high speed disc stack centrifuges.

Other Responsibilities will include:

• Document and perform equipment repairs, cleaning, preventative maintenance, calibrations, etc. and complete all required paperwork.
• Maintain service logs on equipment.
• Filling internal and external parts requests, including preparing packing lists, packing and shipping.
• Trouble shooting and conducting root cause analysis for incoming work and per customer requests.
• Assist with work estimating as it relates to required parts for repair and labor hours.
• Local pickup and delivery of parts and equipment as needed.
• Help maintain work areas and machinery to assure proper and safe working atmospheres.
• Perform other related duties or special projects as required.
• Comply with all aspects of the Trucent safety program, including but not limited to: hazard communication, PPE requirements and attending quarterly safety training.
• Fill in for vacations, emergency services, etc.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.

Position Qualifications:

Education:

Requires a high school education or equivalent plus additional specialize training in industrial maintenance & inventory management. The ideal candidate will have experience with welding, pipe fitting, strong mechanical abilities , strong independent work ethic.

Experience:

Requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance and/or inventory management to gain sufficient skill to perform the requirements of the position.

Skills and Abilities, which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly, associated with this position:

• Good personal communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• General knowledge of the skill trades including mechanical, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• General understanding of fluid dynamics
• Customer relation & problem resolution skills.
• Effective time management skills and attention to detail.
• Basic familiarity with PCs.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Perform reading, writing, and speaking at a basic level.
• Perform the basic functions of arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. Demonstrate a basic understanding of specifications, blueprints, manuals, and mechanical drawings and have a general understanding of analytical methods.
• Ability to apply rational principles to solve practical problems and deal with several concrete variables in standardized situations and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
