We are currently seeking a Shop Manager to work in our Commerce City, CO office .
The Shop Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations within the shop, yard and warehouse while maintaining detailed records, coordinating resources and maintenance activity. Manage and interact closely with shop personnel as well as field and office management.

We are currently seeking a Shop Manager to work in our Commerce City, CO office .
The Shop Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations within the shop, yard and warehouse while maintaining detailed records, coordinating resources and maintenance activity. Manage and interact closely with shop personnel as well as field and office management.
This position reports to the Operations Manager.
Business Planning
- Ensure equipment is available and ready to support operational and project demands.
- Effectively schedule, direct, and monitor all necessary maintenance and repair of internal and fleet equipment to maximize effective utilization by tracking inventory to ensure compliance with Corporate and manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Provide technical information concerning equipment use & limitations in support of all field operations
- Attend and participate in Division scheduling & mobilization meetings.
- Maintain company systems, policies, and procedures as well as develop systems to ensure operational satisfaction that meets established budgets.
- Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager(s).
Financial Management
- Analyzes targets and goals based on shop costs in coordination with Operations and shop personnel.
- Tracks resources and minimizes overheard costs where available.
Safety and Quality Assurance
- Ensures all employees are in compliance with all Keller and OSHA safety requirements.
- In the event of a safety incident, works in partnership with HSEQ to support employees per Keller policy.
- Logs all quality nonconformance issues and works with management for resolution.
- Conducts daily safety meetings with crews and discusses job hazard analysis.
- Collects and reviews equipment inspection sheets.
People Management
- Manage, schedule, and oversee all shop and field mechanics.
- Hire, train and evaluate shop employees.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ shop experience.
- Experience with various heavy construction equipment.
- Geotechnical experience a plus.
- 30 Hour OSHA, First Aid/CPR certified and Rigging, Signaling.
- Computer skills using MS word, excel, and outlook preferred.
- Interpersonal, oral and written communication skills needed.

Compensation: $80-100k range
- flexible depending on applicant previous experience
