Position Summary
This position handles the shipping and receiving of AWS orders and materials. As an integral component to the AWS fulfillment process, the incumbent is responsible for accurately filling and shipping orders.
Essential Duties
- Accurately pull inventory items, pack, and ship them to the customers to complete the order fulfillment.
- Fulfill orders using Panatrack Scanner.
- Liaise with UPS, FedEx, and USPS as necessary to keep shipments moving efficiently.
- Prepare all Seminar documentation annotating the contents in each box.
- Operate forklift.
- Ensure all incoming interoffice mail is distributed.
- Pick up and drop off items pertaining to office needs.
- Organize incoming mail to the appropriate departments.
- Ensure all incoming interoffice mail is distributed.
- Document items received in tracking log.
- Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a regular basis.
- Organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in.
- Organize inventory to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items.
- Assist with periodic stock counts (i.e. full inventory counts, spot checks, etc.).
- Keep documentation of goods shipped and received in order.
- Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
- Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, and operating pallet jacks for large goods.
- Assist on movement of items when required.
- Use safety equipment as appropriate (steel toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, back support vest).
- Maintain up to date certification on operation of fork truck.
- Complete self-training modules on LinkedIn Learning as assigned by manager.

- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment.
- Ability to consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines.
- Excel in analyzing and adjusting workflow procedures for maximum efficiency.
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Office – Specifically Excel Skills:
- Formatting reports – particularly concatenation and delimited file.
- Organizing data sets and tables.
- Filtering and grouping data.
- Familiarity with MS Dynamics GP Inventory Management is a plus.
- Ability to operate pallet jack and hand cart.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience operating mail, copy, and fax equipment.
- Shipping and receiving related experience.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.

Working Conditions and Required Physical Abilities
This position is located in a quiet to moderately noisy indoor office environment.
Individuals in this type of position must have the use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate with other employees and the public through use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, sit, stand, hear, use of fingers in order to handle, feel or operate objects and write. Must have the physical capabilities to move about the office and to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment, such as but not limited to personal computer, calculator, copy and fax machines. Must be able to remain seated at a keyboard or desk for extended periods. Must be able to lift, carry, and/or push/pull articles weighing up to 55 lbs. and to stand for extended periods of time.
