A family owned steel distributor is adding to the team. This shipping role will also have responsibility for inspecting all outbound orders prior to delivery. Experience with steel from any field is desired: manufacturing, construction, welding, powder coating or other!
- Starting Wage: $20-$24
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:30am-7:30pm
Work includes:
- Inspect bundles for accurate count and product type
- Visual identification, use of calipers to determine precise thickness, accurate measuring
- Handling large materials manually along with overhead crane and forklift
- Review loaded truck along with order slip for final inspection before delivery
- Clean and organize staging area based on upcoming delivery needs
