HRU has teamed up with Kawasaki Robotics, Inc to find a day shift Shipping and Receiving Associate for it's Wixom, MI location. Shipping and Receiving Associate

This position offers a wide variety of responsibilities in shipping and receiving, inventory, and some material handling activities in addition to supporting purchasing functions.

Responsibilities for shipping / receiving.

· Retrieve requested products from warehouse.

· Input all shipments into the computer.

· Ship small parcels via UPS and FedEx

· Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by supervisor.

· Count items to ensure that the correct number has been received.

· Match order information in order cards with information on picked items to ensure conformity.

· Coordinating, loading, and unloading shipments and receipts

· This is primarily a shipping and receiving position that will be lifting, up to 50 lbs regularly, operating pallet jacks (both powered and non-powered) and entering data into a computer.

· Escalate significant events or concerns.

· Unload shipments throughout the day that come in daily.

· Interact with company personnel, buyers, trucking companies, coworkers, leads and manager.

Qualifications for shipping / receiving.

· Ability to learn ERP and Shipping software systems.

· Ability and experience with warehouse equipment operation (Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Order Picker) preferred.

· Must be a mature, responsible individual that must be able to perform tasks with limited supervision.

· High School diploma/GED

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
