Service Technician
Job description
It's your job to maintain and repair all equipment to ensure good water quality. As a water treatment technician, your typical duties involve installing water treatment equipment, calibrating equipment, collecting water samples, testing water quality, adjusting chemical levels, maintaining careful records, and creating detailed reports.
We install and service, both, residential and commercial water treatment applications such as conditioners, softeners and reverse osmosis systems. Although the ideal candidate will have experience installing these type of systems, we are willing to train the right individual with basic plumbing experience including working with PVC and PEX.
Other requirements include:
· A clean driving record
· Working Saturdays (9:00am-12:00pm), as needed
· Daily completion and submission of installation related paperwork
· Ability to follow instructions
· Mechanically inclined with the ability to use basic hand tools
· Time management skills to meet scheduled appointment times
· Timely completion of assigned services/installations in an efficient manner following Servisoft of Middlefield, LLC standards and all applicable regulations/code.
· Professional image, outstanding customer relations skills, and comfortable talking to customers about product and payment options.
· Must be reliable, responsible and act with integrity
· High School Diploma or GED
Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. The employee must repeatedly and safely lift up to 50 lbs. The employee is required to push and or pull up to 100 lbs.
