About the role
The Service and Inventory Specialist is responsible for the receiving of goods, maintain bin locations, process Bill of Ladings for inbound shipments and service/remanufacture equipment as needed. The Service and Inventory Specialist will monitor inventory levels within the warehouse and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. This position requires utilizing Kerry computer systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with receiving merchandise from carriers, verifying goods receipt and organize stock to be stored within the warehouse
- Facilitate Bill of Ladings for Inbound shipments from field personnel and vendors
- Insure corporate defined inventory stock levels are maintained
- Perform equipment and part physical inventories and cycle counts per the Kerry defined schedule
- Maintain storage location identifiers
- Maximize the efficient location of parts and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels to insure the target fill rates are achieved and costs are controlled
- Monitor, pick, and prepare orders for shipment as needed
- Assist the Warehouse Operations Coordinator in the management of pending orders to insure fill rate and lead time target levels are met
- Insure all orders are completed within the appropriate system
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness within the entire warehouse
- Service and remanufacture equipment as needed
What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- General knowledge of warehouse procedures
- Strong organization, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Basic computer skills required
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, be detailed-oriented and work in a fast paced environment
- Work requires occasional travel and use of company van/truck which requires possession of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
