Community Connections Inc. is looking for a Service Director to join our team based in South Yarmouth, MA. In this role you will oversee and support the Managers of Day Habilitation, and Individual Supports Service. You will also build and maintain positive and meaningful relationships with clients, family members and staff. We are looking for a Service Director with a commitment to advocacy, serving the community and supporting others towards independence.

What You'll Do as a Service Director:

• Ensure and safeguard C.C.I. consumer's human dignity and rights and liberties.
• Serve as the primary contact with all funding sources related to all clients and service contracts that they oversee.
• Prepare and oversee program budgets, review fiscal reports and anticipate service needs and resources, consulting with Chief Operating Officer.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise and transfer Managers according to CCI Policies and Procedures, with approval from the Vice President of Programs.
• Support the Manager’s handling of employee issues in collaboration with Human Resources.
• Ensure that management responsibilities continue in the absence of a manager.
• Ensure compliance with CCI Policies and Procedures, pertinent state and federal laws, and CARF and QE certification.
• Ensure all sites operate in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
• Responsible for maintaining capacity and proper staff ratios at service sites.
• Supports strategies and techniques with consumers and co-workers.
• Prepare and oversee program budgets, review fiscal reports and anticipate service needs and resources, consulting with Chief Operating Officer.
• Oversee the utilization of Stakeholder Satisfaction Surveys to address identified programmatic issues and concerns.

What You'll Need as a Service Director:

• Bachelor’s degree in human services field required. Relevant experience may be substituted for required education. Master’s degree preferred

• 3 years experience with the different components of services

• 5 years experience in the field of developmental disabilities
• 5 years experience in organizational management with proven knowledge of budget development and oversight of $3M
• Experience in managing community based services for people with disabilities, preferably in the field of habilitation, employment or supported living services.
• Valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving recordand access to a motor vehicle
• Acceptable criminal background check required?
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and boundaries
• Proficient computer and word processing skills
• Proven problem solving abilities?
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
