The Bank, Hilton Head’s Beer Garden, is the premiere community—focused venue on Hilton Head Island. Inside the four walls of a 17,000 square foot former Bank of America branch, visitors will find attractions such as Side Hustle Brewing Company, Pizza Co, Bank Heist Burgers, Mo’ Money Tacos, a gift shop, and an original bank vault, stocked with freshly canned craft beer to go. Outside, The Bank’s beer garden boasts 55,000 square feet of good times generated by a teller window for ordering craft beer, food & beverages, a standalone armored car bar, delicious food from All About the Benjamins Seafood and Dollar Billy’s food trucks, unique drinks, live entertainment, a family zone, and games. The best part? Everything is draped in low country swagger.

This venture is the beginning of Watterson Brands’ Moon King Entertainment Group, a diverse collection of thoughtfully curated, experiential venues that explore local history, culture, and cuisine while providing live entertainment and a sense of place.

Summary of Positions:

The Front of House team at The Bank will provide full service in a variety of outlets on the property including a craft bar, indoor and outdoor seating and a mixture of outdoor experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Greets customers as they are seated at the table; ensure the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided.

· Answers questions regarding the menu and the venue.

· Following responsible alcohol service standards.

· Providing a full service restaurant experience.

· Serves liquor, mixed drinks, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered (where applicable).

· Collects plates and clears the table as customers finish their meals.

· Collects money from customers for drinks prepared and served.

· Maintains the restaurant and beer garden and keeps it clean and organized.

Skills Desired:

· Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.

· Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant.

· Ability to work with a team.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This job entails prolonged periods of standing, preparing drinks, and interacting with customers. There is also frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, and produce items.

Must be at least 18 years old to handle alcoholic beverages and 21 years old to pour alcoholic beverages.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and stand. The employee might be required to reach, bend, stoop, shake, stir, pour, carry, push, and lift objects up to 50 pounds. There is substantial repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers. The employee must be legal drinking age or older.
