Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and take food and beverage orders
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure accuracy of orders and monitor food quality
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
- Upsell menu items and promote specials and events
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including tables, chairs, and dining areas
- Assist with setup and breakdown of the restaurant before and after service
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including COVID-19 protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a restaurant server in a high-end or luxury establishment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
