Senior Warehouse Operations Manager (5+ yrs. Warehouse Mgmt exp. req.) Description

Our client in the HVAC industry is looking for a Senior Warehouse Operations Manager to add to their team in Raleigh, NC. Reporting to the President, you will lead two NC warehouses, including their daily operations and inventory management processes. To be successful in the role, you must have excellent leadership, communication, and leadership skills. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse management background and has spent time working on inventory control and warehouse operations. This is an incredible high-visibility opportunity to join a small team in a stable industry.

Senior Warehouse Operations Manager (5+ yrs. Warehouse Mgmt exp. req.) Responsibilities

• Manage two nearby warehouse distribution centers
• Contribute to the safety compliance and operations processes and policies
• Order replacement HVAC equipment
• Monitor and replenish the online customer ordering portal
• Converse with vendors to negotiate pricing as product turns over
• Set and meet objections to benefit the P&L
• Implement inventory control strategies for optimization
• Provide guidance and support for both warehouse teams
• Improve warehouse operations and set targets for implementation
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Analyze reports from the internal ERP system to benefit the team
• Travel to both warehouses as necessary and meet with team members

Senior Warehouse Operations Manager (5+ yrs. Warehouse Mgmt exp. req.) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 5+ years’ experience in Warehouse Management and Inventory Control required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
• Familiarity with an ERP system required
