Job description
- Provide tier 2 helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IS helpdesk, Allscripts Service Desk, or from our users
- Report issues as needed for escalation
- Maintain/Create PC software images
- Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
- BMC Track IT Software Administrator for helpdesk
- Create and maintain solution documentation in ticketing database
- Monitor ticketing systems for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
- Provides input and maintains current approved hardware bundles
- Mentors IS Technicians by providing work direction, problem resolution, and training to other technical support personnel
- Lead and manage various IS helpdesk projects as required utilizing current project governance processes
- Utilize problem management and change management processes as required.
- On Call support as required
- Provide excellent customer service to our end users
- Other duties as required
REPORT RELATIONSHIP: Reports to IS Service Desk Manager
