We are seeking a knowledgeable professional with a heart for service to join us as Senior Solutions Architect.

The chosen candidate must be experienced in C#, VB.NET, the .NET framework, WinForms, and SQL Server and have a passion for solving problems and leading a team. This individual will be involved in a critically important and broad healthcare project and serve as manager and mentor junior software team members.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee ongoing design and architecture of a large, multi-faceted, healthcare .NET WinForm application with some hybrid web components
• Participate in project planning sessions with product manager, business analysts, and other team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed software solution
• Translate business requirements and healthcare problems into high quality applications, including writing technical specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing and supporting applications using .NET programming languages and development tools
• Lead continuous improvement processes, including improving workflows, release and build management, and communication with other departments such as QA, Client Services, and IT infrastructure
• Provide hands-on day-to-day management, coaching, and support for junior software team members in all phases of a project including aspects such as systems architecture, reuse, development processes, technical direction, and mentoring
• Engage across teams including technical briefings and demonstrations of new technologies and solutions
• Participate in design reviews and provide guidance to the design recommendations; database and code design; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide recommendations to data flow
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/solve application code-related issues
• Responsible for high level phases of system design, programming, implementation, and analysis; leads and participates in major system design, development, and implementations
• Conduct quality review of others' code or designs, and diagnose and fix bugs in partnership with QA team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required, with Master’s Degree preferred
• At least ten (10) to twelve (12) years in prior development and delivery experience with .Net, C#, VB.NET, Winforms, SQL
  
• Prior project architect and team lead experience.
• Expertise with modern, Agile-based application development methodologies
• Proven success facilitating software design and delivering large software projects
• Demonstrated understanding of relational SQL database models
• Strong ability in Jira Project management
• Must be able to report for in-person work at our Southlake, TX location
