The Global Payments team is building a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, such as TikTok, Helo, Games, Education, etc.

The Payment Solutions team in Global Payments focuses on solving the problems of collaboration efficiency and service satisfaction due to timezone differences, language, etc. Through an in-depth understanding of business characteristics and implementation processes, proactively and regularly dig out customer technical pain points and demands, create PIPO-specific and globally consistent products and solutions, reduce customer understanding and access costs, and improve user experience.

We are looking for a self-driven senior software engineer to drive payment product development. You will have the opportunity to partner closely with globalized engineering and product teams in a high-impact and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the payment solution product feature development, to provide the best payment experience to billions of users
• Partner with cross-function teams, e.g. PM, QA, BP, to drive product vision and engineering roadmap
• Work with different stakeholders to decide project priorities, define product deliverables, drive technical initiatives from execution to landing
• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant majors
• Experience in building modern payment systems, familiar with social networks and creator monetization
• Proficient in one or multiple programming languages, e.g. Go, C/C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Experience in the distributed system, backend API development and related fields
• Good product sense, experience in building large-scale consumer-facing product
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
