Summary:
Over the past two years, (un)Common Logic has seen unprecedented growth as more and more companies turn to digital marketing as an effective way to reach prospective customers. Our growth is not over! We are looking to double the size of our agency in the next 2-3 years. To do this, we need to add more talent to our team. This is where you come in.
As a Senior Social Media Specialist, you’ll get the opportunity to work side-by-side with UCL’s Product Managers and Directors to develop best practices in all forms of social media including paid and earned across multiple channels such as FB/IG (now Meta), Twitter, Snapchat, and Tik Tok.
You’ll help create training plans, assist in leading the analysts in their development, and vet tools and platforms. Additionally, you will have a voice in the direction and development of agency social media product offerings.
This position is also responsible for working closely with UCL’s Account Managers to analyze complex data sets, implement optimizations based upon analyses, and formulate digital strategies designed to improve business results for our clients.

We are very proud of the culture and team we have built. As such, this position is based out of our office in Austin, TX. Currently, we are working on a hybrid schedule of in the office two days a week (three days for those in training) with an option to work the other days either at the office or remotely.

Responsibilities:
The Senior Social Media Specialist will have the following day-to-day responsibilities in their role:
- Assist in development and execution of core product offering related to social media
- Identify, design, and execute core product development projects.
- Identify, develop, and lead advanced training.
- Develop and mentor Digital Marketing Analysts and Specialists.
- Set quarterly goals for high profile accounts and advise account teams on strategy.
- Serve as the primary practitioner on key client accounts in social
- Conduct new business audits and participate in audit presentations.
- Regular client interaction. Must feel comfortable discussing results and ideas with clients.
Skills Needed:
- Excellent analytical skills and detail orientation.
- Proven digital marketing experience with a focus on paid social media channels.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated persistence, tenacity, and an ability to overcome obstacles.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of experience of “hands on” management of a variety of social media channels and clients (SMB, enterprise, lead-gen, e-commerce)
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
