Jack Henry & Associates is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst for Silverlake and CIF 2020 Teller Support. In this role, you will work primarily with a module related to CTR reporting and aggregation. You will troubleshoot support cases, work with the customer to resolve their escalated issues, and install already identified fixes using change control management software. Additionally, you will partner with development and product management resources to design bug fixes and then implement those fixes into standard code. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills combined with the ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with customers, both internal and external, as a part of a maintenance programming team. This team works remotely from the United States.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Develops programming code for new and/or existing software
  • Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.
  • Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.
  • Learns the system architecture and is involved in providing software updates and support to our customer during the initial learning phase of Provides programming support for various interfaces.
  • Assists in keeping customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
  • Creates all internal programming documentation; may include defining the system and functional requirements of the product.
  • May complete project bids and/or work effort estimates. Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.
  • Mentors, trains, develops and provides support to less experienced co-workers.

What you will need to have:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with RPG programming.
  • Able to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation including after-hours support.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Knowledge of the financial industry strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of BSA CTR E-Filling preferred.
  • Embedded SQL experience preferred.
  • Softlanding Turnover Experience preferred.
  • Experience working with data queues is preferred.
  • Experience working with RPG file encapsulation is preferred.
