About the Role
The Senior Power BI Developer works in an agile environment while designing, coding, testing, deploying and debugging complex Power BI reports. About the Role
The Senior Power BI Developer works in an agile environment while designing, coding, testing, deploying and debugging complex Power BI reports. Additionally, this role is expected to manage OncoHealth’s internal reporting platform and will work with product and technical leaders to define requirements for future development.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and end users to design and implement new visually appealing data products
- Leverage analytical and problem-solving skills to develop self-service reporting capabilities
- Use strong communication and presentation skills to simplify and present complex ideas to non-technical domain experts
- Rapidly iterate through new report concepts and designs
- Refactor and maintain existing reports
- Independently conduct QA for report accuracy and functionality
- Conduct monthly data refresh and report updates for internal and external users
- Work across the organization to define and deliver the application roadmap
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and build internal reporting metrics for new and existing products
- Lead project design sessions with product and technical roles
- Manipulate unstructured data to create and maintain datasets used for internal reporting
- Develop and support data product workflows
- Identify and resolve data quality issues
- Create documentation for development support
- Refactor existing processing scripts to improve performance and guarantee accuracy
- Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement by mentoring junior analysts and developers
- Partner with Engineers and Analysts to identify the root cause of report / ETL pipeline bugs and data quality issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver and communicate bug fixes
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
- 4-7 years of data analytics and self-service dashboard development experience with at least 2 years in Power BI.
- Experience working in agile and highly matrixed organizations with demonstratable project or team leaderships experience preferred.
- Analyzing information, advanced SQL & Python (Pyspark preferred) programming, proficient in DAX queries, a passion for design of data visualization, software documentation and testing are required skills, as well as general programming skills and software development fundamentals, development process, and requirements.
- Must be able to travel onsite for company events at least 4 times per year (once per quarter).

OncoHealth is committed to remote, hybrid or in office work options. The majority of the team will be remote or in hybrid work arrangements with offices in Atlanta, GA, Plantation, FL and Guaynabo, PR. We are open to employees nationwide, but work primarily in the Eastern and Central Time Zones.

Through the use of OncoHealth's utilization management system, OneUM, our customers can use a single e-Prior Authorization portal for all oncology drug request and treatments. Our system improves quality of care, reduces provider abrasion and gives health plans visibility into the total cost of oncology treatment.
OncoHealth offers Oncology Insights Pro, an analytic software solution that enables health plans to use data and analytics to improve oncology programs. Using real world data, our engineers normalize data to create analytic dashboards with drill down compatibilities.
