Role: Sr. Oracle Apex Application Developer

Location: (MD, VA, Washington D.C)

Job type: Full Time/Permanent

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Capable of designing and developing user-friendly, modern-looking, customized solutions using Oracle APEX applications that meet client requirements and maximizes user efficiency

· Capable of leading a team of developers and providing technical guidance and support

· Able to develop complex web applications using Oracle APEX

· Able to implement and maintain web application architecture and design patterns

· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Willingness to seek out creative solutions

· Ability to maintain documentation on all work products and code bases

· Ability to truly internalize the business need of a solution and build toward a functional goal

· An awareness of data privacy, security concerns, and possible vulnerabilities

· Develop and integrate systems using REST APIs

· Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and responsible team player

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to work with a cross-functional array of teams, technical and non-technical

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

· At least 2+ years prior Government consulting experience is required

· 7+ years of strong experience developing Oracle APEX applications, Advanced PL/SQL and Database skills, JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, CSS & HTML, Python

· 7+ years of solid understanding of web application architecture and design patterns

· 7+ years experience working in Agile development methodologies

· 7+ years experience with IT Automation technologies such as Ansible preferred

· Ability to mentor and train mid-level developers

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
