Overview:
The S enior Manager, P eople Experience Operations is responsible for the administration duties of the PX (People Experience) Operations team. This position will play a key role in the day-to-day PX functions. Additionally, this position will provide guidance, counsel, and a sounding board for business unit leaders. This position will be responsible for a wide array of HR projects and assignments, which have direct impacts on the functioning of the PX department and PowerSchool.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of People Operations professionals who help support the entire People Experience (PX) team and PowerSchool’s internal customers.
  • Lead PowerSchool’s domestic and international contractor management and liaise and build contractor and key internal relationships with Sales and other internal teams, specifically as we expand our international presence.
  • Lead complex, large-scale PX and Compliance programs from initiation through delivery.
  • Lead M & A and integration activities from a PX perspective.
  • Review industry trends and external benchmarking to proactively identify and recommend continuous improvements related to your program ownership; and
  • Establish and build relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring all on-boarding and off-boarding activities are captured as required.
  • Prepare and maintain data for employment related changes, including hiring, termination, pay, position, and supervisor changes.
  • Ensure constant improvement of all PX Operations processes and tools.
  • Ensure PX processes are followed according to established procedures.
  • Ensure PowerSchool is compliant with all local/state/federal/foreign regulations.
  • Supports the overall development of best practices in human capital management.
  • Track HR metrics to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement counter-measures to correct identified misses to goals.
  • Direct the interpretation and application of established HR standard operating procedures.
  • Interact and communicate with associated operating departments as necessary to produce cohesive efforts towards accomplishing Company goals. Reinforce an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Act as a mentor on the PX Operations team.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration.
  • 5+ years of experience leading People/HR Operations Teams.
  • 2+ years’ experience working with M&A program management including team integration.
  • 2+ years’ experience managing an HR Compliance function, including SOX requirements.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Independently manage project plans, strategies, and execution of PX programs, coordinating with cross-functional teams to identify and address dependencies with key partners.
  • Expertly execute all aspects of project management from the small to the large: project plans, project meetings, day-to-day progress updates, development of communication and training resources, company-wide presentations, measurement strategy development and execution, amongst other aspects.
  • Proficient at handling multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Top notch facilitation skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and motivate.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to partner and interface with leadership team on multiple focal points.

  • Demonstrate the ability to build cohesive, engaged, and happy teams.
  • PHR/SPHR, preferred.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $120,000-132,000. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
