We’re looking for an amazing Senior Manager, Financial Analysis & Sales Planning to fill this role, which is based in our Seattle office. You’ll be responsible for financial and operational development and analysis to support the effective allocation of sales resources, contributing to reaching revenue targets for the North American Sales agency channel at Seabourn. They will develop, model, and refine sales and financial forecasting/budgets, optimize all financial processes, and provide analysis and recommendations in the development of commercial terms and contractual agreements, as well as lead audit and payout processes to ensure compliance. Leverage analyses utilizing the company’s data sources to drive multiple initiatives that generate incremental profit for the organization

The Senior Manager, Financial Analysis and Sales Planning works closely with key inter-departmental functional areas such as Finance, Accounting, Legal, Audit, Revenue Planning and Analytics, Revenue Management, and Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and budgeting cycle for the Seabourn sales department. Develop, model, and refine sales and financial forecasting/budgets. Optimize all financial processes within the sales organization. Identify gaps and provide timely variance explanations between budget and forecast to management
  • Manage and allocate budget and leverage data analysis and in-depth understanding of all Travel Agency commercial and contractual terms and agreements to develop new trade programs to: drive demand, build higher yielding business and lower acquisition costs
  • Manages team responsible for: 1) financial and operational development and analysis to support the effective allocation of sales resources to meet or exceed revenue targets for the agency channel 2) provides reporting and analysis informing leadership team of the impact to agency revenue performance
  • Provide analysis and recommendations in the development of commercial terms and contractual agreements, as well as lead audit, payout, and expense reconciliation processes to ensure internal and external compliance with sales contract obligations
  • Perform data queries and analytics Extracts data from multiple databases, consolidates results, and highlight trends to facilitate decision-making. Provides periodic performances updates for select stakeholders
  • Development and documentation of all financial, invoicing, expense reconciliation, and audit processes and procedures
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned by Director

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering, STEM or related preferred
  • Minimum 6 year of full-time experience with finance/analytics/project management/project-solving/database management
  • Minimum 6 year working on multidisciplinary teams in large corporations
  • Minimum 4 year working with executives at a large firm
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and a methodical process in performing work assignments are critical. Capable of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously. Capable of developing and managing budgets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to change. Self-starter, team player and able to work independently
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex analysis across all levels of the organization in a simple and quickly understandable format with the appropriate amount of detail and explanation. Exceptional listening skills
  • Critical Professional related Technical & Computer Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Executive presentation development and visualization
  • Proven entrepreneurial mindset and successful track-record of delivering results
  • Power BI, Power Pivot, Tableau, SQL, or other coding
  • Salesforce
  • Ability to lead and mentor direct reports
  • Proactive and self-driven individual

  • Base Salary Range: $83,200.00 to $112,300.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
