The Senior Manager, Digital Commerce - Omni Channel will report to a VP of Marketing. This new hire will work at McCormick's global headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD and will be eligible to participate in McCormick's hybrid work program (50% onsite and 50% remote per month).

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Manager, Digital Commerce – Omni Channel will be responsible for the development and execution of Omni Channel Digital Commerce strategy across North America retail platforms (e.g. Walmart, Instacart, Target, Loblaws, Kroger). The successful candidate will lead a team of Omnichannel Customer Managers who support retailers’ digital shelf, digital merchandising and strategic customer marketing plans that drive sales and share of McCormick brands. Additionally, partner with key cross-functional teams in Global Marketing, Digital Capabilities, and Information Technology to drive McCormick’s Digital Commerce Strategic Roadmap.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Defines strategy, manages execution, and continuously tracks and improves our performance across Omnichannel retail platforms. Tracks digital commerce & Retailer Media environment for new and emerging services and platforms to identify new business opportunities for MKC & Co.
Maintains a deep understanding of retailer ecommerce platforms, digital product content requirements, Content Service Providers, Digital Shelf and Retail Media Analytics.
Build ecommerce and omnichannel expertise across customer facing teams. M entors, coaches, and develops employees through training, aligned KPIs and organizational goals.
Manage agency relationship, including execution of RFP process if needed.
CPG-sales/marketing/shopper marketing principles and related analytics and utilizes this understanding to develop and execute annual plans to deliver sustained sales and share growth
Able to measure and track performance through standard Digital Commerce scorecards with KPIs for sales, share, search, and media shopper metrics that drive conversion.
Builds relationships with retailer executive digital commerce teams, field sales team, Global Marketing, IT, Trade Marketing, HQ & Field Category Management to integrate digital commerce strategies, monetize business development opportunities and grows customer intimacy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
7+ years broad business lens to include basic understanding of Sales, Marketing, IT and Finance functions.
5 years proven team leadership, managing direct reports
4+ years demonstrated success building customer/brands/businesses in consumer packaged goods, including annual and long-range plan development and execution.
2+ year experience participating in digital marketing and sales efforts including customer exposure,
2 years high level strategic & analytical thinking, strategic selling, communication, negotiation, team & relationship building skills.
In-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within Marketing and Sales - such as brand building, advertising/promotion/shopper marketing, annual business planning with retail partners, retail media, insights and analytics
Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations.
Passion for Digital Commerce space with entrepreneurial drive to shape Omnichannel strategy
Experience with a wide range of activities that require complex judgments and solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives.
Developed communication & diplomacy skills required to negotiate internally with key stakeholders and externally at Executive levels.
Ability to engage and inspire others through passion for achieving success.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication & organizational skills.

MBA
Executive Sales or Digital Commerce experience
