Job Description

Rohinni is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Integration Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating hardware, firmware, and software components in our machine development projects. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leverage expertise in advanced motion control theory and its real-world applications
  • Maintain a high level of technical expertise in hardware, firmware, and software development.
  • Define requirements and test performance of motion control products and features.
  • Review with engineering leads current DOEs, determine what are critical inputs/outputs, define “What are we doing” and “Why are we doing it.”
  • Must be results-oriented and demonstrate analytical thinking, innovation, flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrated success working in a highly collaborative multi-function environment, with a track record of accomplishment with measurable business impact.
  • Execute planned process experiments, collect, and analyze data and report experimental results.
  • Develop and update internal documentation including drawings, standard operating procedures, and process specifications.
  • Participate in the development and execution of quality assurance processes to ensure the highest level of product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that components and materials meet quality and performance requirements.
  • Coworking with International suppliers for developing emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, analyze test results, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Lead design reviews and make recommendations on system architecture and design changes to optimize performance and cost.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and procedures related to system integration, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Develop and implement software algorithms to control motion systems and achieve high levels of precision and accuracy.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve system integration processes and methodologies.my revised first draft.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in integration engineering, systems architecture, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of firmware and software development methodologies.
  • Experience with hardware design and integration of components.
  • Familiarity with Motion controllers, embedded systems, FPGA, and microcontrollers.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, VB/VB.NET, Python, MATLAB
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet established timelines.
  • A desire to work in a customer-facing engineering role.
  • Flexible problem solving for prototype systems and challenging applications.
  • Must be self-motivated and an effective team member.

Preferred Skills

  • High degree of technical knowledge
  • Previous Experience with motion controls for high precision, micron level accuracy, piezo actuators, linear motor motion systems, multi-axis gimbals, linear handlers, or articulated robotics.
  • Experience with ACS, PI and or Aerotech motion control a plus.
  • Excited to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support our global projects. Excited about occasional domestic and international travel opportunities to support our expanding business.
