OwnBackup is looking to hire a Head of Data and Analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data strategies that drive growth, optimize business processes, and create new revenue streams. You will be responsible for leading all data strategy, analytics, business intelligence, reporting and data engineering functions and will be responsible for implementing core data capabilities and evangelizing a culture of data-driven decision-making at OwnBackup.

Your Day-to-Day Role

• Develop and implement data and analytics strategies to drive growth and optimize business processes
• Manage a team of data analysts and scientists, providing guidance and support to ensure team goals are met
• Assists OwnBackup executives in defining organizational goals and strategic plans around their data needs. Expert business knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of the organization and functional area(s).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities and deliver insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
• Oversee the development and maintenance of data infrastructure, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes that improve data analytics and reporting capabilities
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the progress of data and analytics initiatives
• Serve as a thought leader on data issues in strategic partnerships and via industry forums to solve key challenges facing the behavioral health business
• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports when applicable

Your Work Experience

• 12+ years of experience in corporate data and analytics-related roles
• Hands-on experience working with healthcare clinical and claims data
• Deep experience with data analysis and BI tools required
• Data-driven thinker with excellent quantitative skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in a high-growth technology company or similar environment is preferred
• Ability to think creatively to leverage data to drive operational excellence.
• Ability to hire and develop a strong team of leaders
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with key stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings articulating complex concepts
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional matrix management environment with a highly collaborative, team-oriented approach to problem-solving
• Positive, energetic attitude to achieve great things
• Bachelor's Degree required. MBA or a relevant advanced degree Preferred

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
