The Director of IT Solutions Delivery, Sales has oversight of global sales applications to create, configure, and integrate technology solutions that digitize, optimize, and re-engineer business processes to enable a competitive advantage and superior experience for our customers and patients. We are looking for a transformative leader than can assist the team with transitioning from a hybrid delivery model to a Scaled Agile framework, including integration with our global competency centers. The individual in this role must be a strong people leader with global team experience, have solid communication skills that can influence others to action, and be comfortable working in a highly-matrix, team-oriented IT environment.

This role you will be redefining IT and leading the pack. You will have a lot of technology exposure that is directly impacting our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a technology portfolio of multiple critical systems, tools, & solutions to support the Edwards global sales organizations
Enable business value realization thru the design, development, validation, and deployment of IT solutions according to prioritized capability roadmaps
Utilize industry trends and best practices to identify applications and build effective and responsive delivery and support teams
Collaborate with IT Business Partners and Enterprise Architecture to identify and improve systems, processes, and services for the sales functions
Accountable for setting and managing priorities and schedules for IT Sales resources and level-set delivery expectations with IT Business Partners and business stakeholders
Manage relationships with various technology vendors and business stakeholders to achieve project, enhancement, and service support delivery for the IT Sales application portfolio
Responsible for application upgrades, performance, functionality improvements, security, validation, and general maintenance
Coach/mentor team members, including dotted-line reports as necessary. Align team members in roles to best take advantage of their strengths and to grow/diversify their skillsets
Manage planning, staffing, budgeting for the IT Sales Delivery lane

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of seventeen years of IT experience ( OR fourteen years with a Masters)
Bachelor’s degree in STEM or Business Administration
A minimum of ten years performing in an application delivery function, including a minimum of seven years of work with sales processes and solutions
IT leadership and strong people management experience in areas of responsibility and in similar roles (broad based, senior level) within a comparably sized or larger multi-national company

Preferred Qualifications:
Sales Systems experience (e.g. Salesforce, Anaplan, Model N)
Experience working with 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP software validated systems

Additional Expectations:
Track record organizing and developing teams to successfully deliver sales-related technology solutions (ie: Salesforce, Model N, Anaplan, etc)
Experience working with Scaled Agile and a competency center delivery model
Strategic thinker, keeping big picture in mind while ensuring execution excellence that enhances business decision making capabilities
Comfortable working in a dynamic and highly matrixed environment; working effectively with business functional teams, remote development teams, as well as cloud hosted or SaaS vendors and partners
Excellent communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills with ability to influence and motivate at various levels of the organization
Demonstrated success in leading large, complex projects within budget and meeting deadlines.
Skilled at aligning organization and business goals, with success driving organizational change management.
Must be passionate about current technological trends and ability to apply to the future vision
Demonstrates strong customer, quality, cost, and delivery focus

Travel
Up to 25% international travel per year

For California, the base pay range for this position is $169,000 to $239,000 (highly experienced).

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
