The Senior Director, Clinical Pharmacology will lead this function, develop and curate an overall strategy, and oversee technical execution across all areas of clinical pharmacology. This individual would join our growing clinical organization and play an integral role in the advancement of Neumora's dynamic neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for the overall clinical pharmacology strategy for Neumora's portfolio
  • Accountability for the design and implementation of asset- or program-specific clinical pharmacology studies, data analysis, internal decision points, and external regulatory interactions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external experts to lead the development and implementation of pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and modeling and simulation studies and execution to inform clinical and regulatory decisions through all phases of drug development
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams providing/sourcing subject matter expertise in quantitative clinical pharmacology, non-clinical pharmacology, and non-clinical modeling to inform topics such as dose selection and schedule
  • Contribute to program strategy, study design, protocol preparation, study execution, data review/analysis, study reports and regulatory document preparation
  • Work closely with research and development teams and provide input into assay development, CRO/vendor selection and CRO/vendor management
  • Represent non-clinical and clinical pharmacology during meetings and discussions with regulatory authorities
  • Create or guide the development of non-clinical and clinical pharmacology summary documents
  • Review literature and peer-reviewed publications to keep apprised of global regulatory developments in clinical pharmacology
  • Maintain a high standard for good laboratory and clinical practices, compliance, and ethical standards

Qualifications:

  • MD and/or PhD in pharmaceutical sciences/pharmacology or PharmD with at least 7 years of relevant clinical pharmacology experience within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry
  • Demonstrated experience in writing, presenting, and discussing non-clinical and clinical pharmacology with both internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex nonclinical and clinical data sets coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects, engaging subject matter experts across functions to drive the execution of programs
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving company
  • Proven ability to work with a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Willingness to work collaboratively by incorporating diverse perspectives and appropriately managing relationships
  • Demonstrated application of critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize and execute corporate objectives and goals

The salary range posted describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Actual salary may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Base Salary Range: $254,567 - $268,212
