SALARY: $94,000 - $141,600, bonus and long term incentive eligible.

ROLE SUMMARY:
As a data scientist focused on people analytics, you will leverage statistical, econometric, and behavioral models, plus machine and deep learning techniques, coupled with deep business expertise to solve real problems such as retention, workplace demand planning, succession planning and organizational design. As an added bonus, you will spend time reviewing ongoing academic research in this area and work on applying them to your work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

Build data science solutions and machine learning products that meet a certain threshold of difficulty to solve core and strategic business problems.

Detail your thought process and craft artifacts to share with business.

Implement code that builds reproducible results and is written as per team’s design and engineering practices.

Review methodology and code developed by peers and collaborate with others to advance the team’s ability to build quality solutions.

Communicate and present your results to the business in a clear, concise manner that drives decision making.
JOB QUALIFCATIONS:

While the following qualifications provide a benchmark of the skills and experiences that might make a candidate successful, we first and foremost hire great people who have the ambition and curiosity to Dream Big, are excited by challenges, and have an ownership mentality.

PhD or master’s degree in economics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field.

Experience as a data scientist applying statistical/econometric and/or machine learning methods to solve real business problems.

Experience in data exploration, hypothesis formulation, data wrangling that enriches understanding, and creating clean data for analysis.

Experience utilizing Python for data science, visualization, and scripting.

Experience with SQL for querying and manipulating data.

Bonus points for experience in people analytics and/or familiarity with Workday, SAP and macroeconomic data.
