Bruce Oakley is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst who has excellent writen and verbal communication skills, an entrepreneurial attitude, and has the drive and ambition to succeed. As a team member of the Credit Group your responsibilities will include:
*Review counterparty information including financial statements to determine credit worthiness, effectively communicate risks, and develop a strong point of view while establishing credit lines.
* Monitor outstanding balances relative to credit lines.
* Develop an understanding of contract risk, industry risk and when required country risk.
Work closely with Accounting, Legal, and Marketing to review contract language and solve credit related issues.
* Strong written and verbal communications with the ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
Basic Qualifications:
* The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree OR 2+ years of experience in financial or credit analysis
* Experience in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience implementing or supporting data analytics for a business
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
* Trade credit experience
* Experience in accounting or financial concepts
* Experience in the agriculture or fertilizer industry
