Your work environment at EXP

In this role you will be a part of the infrastructure group in the Northeast market. We are an entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary firm of approximately 3,500 professionals across North America with a history of successfully delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects across North America. We are currently looking to grow and enhance our transit, rail control systems, structural, roadway, and tunneling practices and are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Architects.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Responsible for managing the design, production and coordination of projects
• The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be a dynamic presenter, and be able to effectively manage diverse groups of clients, project stakeholders, and team members
• Responsible and accountable for understanding and negotiating appropriate fees, schedule, and contract terms that are acceptable to the client and beneficial to EXP
• Responsible for project performance, including delivering projects within financial and schedule parameters, and for exceeding client expectations
• Participation in business development through market research, meeting with clients, assisting with marketing proposals, and participating in selection interviews is also a necessity to succeed in this role
  

What your experience looks like

• Degree in Architecture from an accredited University
• Architectural License
• Experience in the production of contract documents including, plans, technical specifications, project schedule, project budget and cost estimates
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with the tasks identified above
• Track record of exceptional performance
• Experience in a variety of project market sectors, including Transportation, Aviation, Rail + Transit, Federal Government, and Buildings
• Experience with NY MTA, and PANYNJ preferred
• Thorough working understanding of the Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM capabilities
• Ability for occasional travel
  

The pay range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
