Position Objective:
The Administrative Assistant Position will work as part of the office team to achieve overall company goals. This successful team player will work with all levels within the company to successfully accomplish assigned duties.
Key Accountabilities:
- Answering incoming phone calls.
- Maintain files of open purchase order and receipts.
- Enter all Accounts Payable invoices after matching up to purchase orders and receipts.
- Confirm material on AP invoices has been billed in AR.
- Process all Accounts Payable payments.
- Respond to vendor inquiries on payment status.
- Review Open order report and report to purchasing manager.
- Review vendor acknowledgements.
- Assist with collection calls.
- Assist Purchasing Manager and Office Manager with projects.
- Maintain strong customer service focus and attitude at all times.
Position Requirements:
High School dipomma or equivalent;
Must have good written and verbal communication skills;
Must have excellent phone and people skills;
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions or vendor and customer requests;
Prior experience in an Accounts Payable position;
Must be computer literate.
Salary Range:
- $55,000.00 - $70,000.00
