This position will be responsible for day-to-day frontline and escalated collection activities in the Cox Automotive Dealer Accounts Receivable segment in support of a region or business units. They will engage with clients that have a high degree of complexity and present increased exposure/risk or require partnership across multiple functional groups for resolution. In this role, the individual will be the point of escalation for collection scenarios and be responsible for engaging with the appropriate internal or external partners to ensure completion. The individual will serve as a primary point of contact for leaders in the business units supported by the team and be responsible for ensuring they are updated on portfolio status.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Resolution of complex and escalated Collection issues
• Leading and participating in weekly collection meetings
• Training responsibility for new team members
• Assist in process development and SOP documentation.
• Prepare weekly billing reconciliation for each assigned Commercial Client
• Following up with Clients on outstanding invoices that are deemed aged and fall outside of standard payment terms.
• Partner with business locations to collect required backup documentation needed for any disputed invoices.
• Review and resolve client return payments.
• Review escalated collection scenarios and initiate appropriate action to resolve.
• Recommend account actions in loss scenarios (account suspensions, vehicle resales)
• Work closely with Accounts Receivable Supervisor and Senior Manager on special assignments / projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma with 5+ years of accounts receivable experience or any level of degree or certification beyond high school with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience working with internal and external customers to resolve issues
• Oracle Accounts Receivable strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficient in PC Skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Suites and Oracle 11 or 12

COMPENSATION:

Hourly pay rate is $22.98 - $34.42/hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

BENEFITS:

Employees receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
