POSITION SUMMARY
This position reports to the Assistant Controller. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the preparation of an assigned range of financial data that appears in the company's financial statements. This position requires a strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Senior Accountant must be capable of problem identification and resolution. The position requires an exceptional attention to detail,
understanding of the general ledger and chart of accounts, and the ability to utilize a variety of software and productivity tools. Strong communication skills are also necessary to effectively communicate with employees at all levels.

REGULAR DUTIES
? Prepare and understand month end journal entries
? Prepare bank reconciliations
? Review and understand payroll
? Raw materials and finished goods inventory calculations
? Fixed asset management
? Profitability and performance analysis
? General ledger account analysis
? Financial reporting
? All other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
? Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field desired
? 3 - 5 years experience as a cost accountant in manufacturing environment desired
? Computer skill sets to include experience with an integrated software package, Microsoft Dynamics SL (formerly known as Solomon) preferred
? Intermediate level of competency with MS Excel and Word
? Must be well organized and possess a strong attention to detail, and work well in a team environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
? Proficient oral and written skills
? Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time. Must have manual dexterity needed to type on a computer keyboard.
? Continual hand/wrist motion is required to operate computers and office machinery
? Must be able to read papers and reports without assistance
? The ability to bend, stoop, and twist is required for filing
? Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
