Renew is a patient-driven healthcare provider focused on providing a technologically advanced, completely digital, implant supported full-mouth restoration solution for our patients suffering with missing and failing teeth. Renew is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting/finance department.
As a Senior Accountant, you will need to be a self-starter who can adapt well to changing responsibilities and workload while maintaining positive relationships with team members and executives. The Senior Accountant must be able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, be able to prioritize, and be a collaborative and communicative team player who takes ownership of responsibilities with minimal supervision. The Senior Accountant is also expected to take initiative when something is not working as expected and challenge the status quo and suggests/implements solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage fixed assets in NetSuite (e.g., additions, disposals, depreciation, etc.)
- Revenue and deferred revenue posting and tracking
- Intercompany expense posting and tracking
- Preparation of journal entries and support schedules including revenue, cost of goods sold, and equity method accounting
- Month-end bank reconciliations, COGS, inventory, fixed assets, equity, intercompany, and debt
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, non-compliance, and audit findings
- Manage property tax and sales and use tax preparation
- Download and upload data between various systems (e.g., NetSuite, OpenDental, patient financing sources, merchant services, credit cards, banking, etc.)
- Manage the PBC requests of year-end audit
- Suggest, collaborate, and implement new processes/systems
- Manage ad hoc requests from CFO and VP, Accounting
- Other accounting/finance duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- 3-10 years of experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant
- BA/BS in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent mathematical and analytical ability
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Excellent time management skills
- Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and tax laws
- Experience working with multiple entities
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Ability to train/manage staff
Schedule
This is a full-time position, and hours of work are standard Monday – Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) with occasional overtime as needed. Exact hours are flexible based on individual personnel needs and in alignment with department.
Compensation
$80 - $100k/annually
