Senior Construction Accountant
CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, Salary, Exempt
COMPENSATION: $60,000 - $75,000 Per year, Eligible for benefits

POSITION SUMMARY: Redstone Residential is growing and is excited to add a senior corporate accountant to its team! In this role, you’ll be supporting the accounting and finance efforts supporting our corporate entities with focuses in the multifamily, student housing, development, construction, marketing, and ancillary services sectors. You will work closely with the corporate controller and accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. You will also be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends and variances, and recommending decisions based on your research and conclusions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the financial operations of corporate entities
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and tax returns
- Analyze financial data and identify trends and variances
- Recommend improvements to process and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Maintain financial records and ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience in construction accounting or finance role is required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred
- GAAP proficiency is preferred
- Microsoft Excel proficiency is required
- Experience in running / managing financial close process is required

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
