Senior Accountant - Accounting
Job Summary:
- Duties include performing various accounting functions including the monthly financial closing of the Hospital and its related entities, assisting with the annual cost report, budget process and performing budget support functions, performing special projects and other related duties as assigned.
Educational/Licensing:
- Four-year Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required with a minimum of three years progressive accounting experience preferably in a hospital environment.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of financial statements and general ledger accounting.
- Understanding of hospital accounting preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of automated accounting systems and spreadsheet applications; including Excel and Word.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
Hourly Base Rate: $27.00 - $38.92
Shift: Days
Hours Per Week: 40-hours/week
