Senior Accountant - $85,000 – Lake Zurich

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Maintain accuracy and integrity of general ledgers
• Analyze key accounts for accuracy and provide explanations for period variances
• Ensure financial statements are GAAP compliant
• Conduct inventory reconciliation and explain variances
• Prepare monthly cashflow analysis and forecast, margin analysis, international revenue, etc.
• Maintain Fixed Assets – entering new accounts, retiring accounts, reconciling accounts and recording depreciation
• Perform cycle PPE counts to maintain a high level of accuracy related to PPE
• Analyze cost justification of capital additions
• Develop and maintain an effective system of internal controls
• Assist in operations reporting: sales analysis summary, semimonthly labor reporting, etc.
• Prepare schedules and journal entries required for month end close
• Monitor expense report approval and payment

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry required
• Experience with ERP software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; Advance Excel skills required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
