Tire Rack is seeking an experienced SEM Manager to join our in-house Digital Media Buying team! This individual will serve as the main point-of-contact for our largest paid search channel. We are looking for a professional that plans and executes a cohesive strategy, while adhering to a set budget while delivering a profitable return. High-level responsibilities will include: managing keyword bidding and return targeting, maintaining shopping campaigns and the datafeed, and identifying opportunity for optimization. Experience with bid management tools and a history of campaign success are must-haves for this role. Our ideal candidate will also have experience driving high-volume web traffic and/or automotive industry experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage SEM execution across multiple platforms and with numerous accounts
  • Maintain weekly reporting to assess performance and identify opportunity
  • Coordinate tactical routine account hygiene to optimize performance
  • Modify ad copy to reflect brand messaging and introduce new promotions
  • Maintain datafeed to ensure product availability, exposure and performance
  • Collaborate with key vendor partners for a cohesive strategy
  • Develop and maintains the keyword, campaign and account hierarchy
  • Identify the latest industry trends, technologies and strategies
  • Deploy change when called for by industry best practice
  • Administer bid strategy to reflect priorities and achieve business goals
  • Lead the Digital Media Buying Coordinator and a growing team of SEM professionals

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the digital, SEM, paid search landscape
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, business, or communications
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience using search and shopping as effective marketing channels
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proven ability to manipulate data and present large data sets
  • Demonstrable experience using bid management tools
  • Robust knowledge of business analytics
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and innovate
  • Track record of growth and success
  • Proved leadership with the ability to teach, mentor and develop.
