Absolute Health Professionals is seeking skilled, reliable CNAs to work one on one with elderly patients in their home in VOLUSIA COUNTY. The right candidate will have reliable transportation, current CNA license, be able to pass a level 2 background screening, CPR certified, have strong communication skills, experience with caregiving in the home, follow individualized care plans, and have a kind, nurturing personality with the ability to work unsupervised with our patients. Must have a ready-to-work attitude!
This position is flexible!
We also pay for overtime!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Personal care
- Companionship (Communication #1, enjoying life together, maybe going for a walk or reading scripture)
- Light housekeeping
- Running Errands
- Transportation using client's vehicle or personal vehicle
- Meal planning and preparation
- Laundry
- Bathing, dressing, toileting, eating and walking with assistance, bed-bound patients
- Medication reminders
- Working with Alzheimer’s & Dementia clients
Qualifications: -CNA license, and experience providing Personal Care services to clients in their homes. - Commitment to treating clients with dignity and respect. - Valid driver’s license - Active CPR certification. - Level 2 Background Screen from the State of Florida. - CEU's for HIV/AIDS and Alzheimer's/Dementia - Able to use a smartphone to clock in and out
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
