NSG, Inc. is currently seeking a second shift Security Operations Field Manager. The position is salaried with a pay range of $45,000 to $48000 per year depending on experience.

Job Description: This position takes place Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Primary responsibility is to monitor, manage, and support all security guard post activity to ensure all security tasks are completed as required. Duties will include regular site visits throughout the work week to all customer posts to check-in with the guard team and provide support and oversight as needed. This role is part of the Security Operations management team consisting of four field managers and a General Manager who work together in a team environment to provide great customer experience and service.

Primary Duties:

• Monitor and manage all guard support activity during your shift.
• Exercise sound judgement and decision making as it relates to solving problems as they occur.
• Conduct random inspections of security officers and regularly evaluate performance.
• Ensure all posts assignments are covered, and as needed dispatch officers for call-offs.
• As required manage all staff performance and disciplinary activity.
• Review all incident reports of property losses, fire, accidents, and reports of unusual occurrences to ensure complete investigation and follow-up;
• Communicate with and notify senior management, building engineers, other division heads of all issues as needed.

Training:

• Ensuring all security officers are properly educated on company policies and procedures, as it relates to their assigned buildings;
• Continuing education and training as needed for 2nd shift staff.
• Inspecting all security officers routinely for dress code and appearance.

Additional Duties:

• Emergency response on-call availability; ability to respond to all emergencies (building related, weather, security threats, etc.);
• Writing thorough incident and investigation reports.
• Assist with any other projects and/or assignment as dictated by the Management team.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• High school diploma required.
• 2 years of prior experience in security industry (i.e. law enforcement agencies, private security)
• 2 years of prior experience in managing personnel/staff as a Supervisor or Manager
• Must be able to obtain a security license through the state of Ohio
• Experience responding to emergencies in timely fashion (i.e. work different shift, coverage, “on-call”)
• Ability to occasionally work non-traditional hours (evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills as it relates to all areas of employee interaction and management.
• Highly customer focused and capable of effectively and professionally interacting with our customers on a regular basis.
• High degree of reliability and accountability as it relates to all job duties.
• Ability to assess and creatively effectively solve all support issues as they are encountered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and security based internal programs/software
• Capability of utilizing custom software support tools associated with the job. Scheduling tools, incident reporting application, bar code scanning, etc.
