Position: Lead Security Installation Technician
Pay Status: Hourly
Location: Branch Office - Chesterfield, VA
Reports to: Branch Manager/Operations Manager
Pay Rate: Hourly $30.00-$40.00(Plus Monthly Bonuses- see below) - Lead Installation Technician

Primary Purpose and Function
The Lead Technician position is an intermediate technician role who has the overall responsibility for the physical Installation, programming and implementation of intermediate complexity security projects. Will oversee projects, help finish and maintain systems, train teammates, provide support on jobs, and ensure a smooth process start to finish.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform installation and programming of medium to intermediate complexity projects per scope of work documents.
• Coaching and mentoring Installation Tech I.
• Certification and/or thorough understanding of programming and installation of AMAG and a Mercury based access control systems.
• Certification and/or thorough understanding of programming and installation of IP-based video surveillance equipment such as Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, etc.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to proactively research technical documentation on line.
• Attention to Safety.
• Good driving record.
• 3-6 Years direct industry installation experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lead field crews on projects.
• Ability to install, program, commission, and train medium to intermediate complexity projects independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Overtime

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus pay set up to receive monthly bonuses - Bonus average of bonus for a technician working 50 hours a week is between $600-$1000 on top of the overtime pay.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (required)
