The officers will be assigned to work at the Port ON CALL only -

SHIFTS WILL VARY DEPENDING ON THE SHIFT NEEDS, OVERTIME IS COMMON. OFFICER WILL BE ON AN ON-CALL ROSTER AND RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS WHEN SHIPS WILL BE ARRIVING IN PORT.

Execushield is looking to hire unarmed TWIC credentialed security officers for placement on a reserve/on-call basis to serve vessels at the Port of Redwood City - Experienced officers without credentials are encouraged to apply, Execushield will sponsor credentials for staff selected for this position.

As vessels arrive in Port, Execushield staff members will be contacted to help support staffing needs.

Varying shifts will become available as ships arrive and depart.

Officers are expected to respond to staffing requests with availability and maintain BSIS and TWIC credentials and Execushield training requirements.

Officers will work under the supervision and guidance of full-time regularly assigned staff members.

Opportunities for regular positions, assignments, and advanced training will be offered to staff selected for this team as well.

Employment Minimum Qualifications:

• · 18 years or older
• · Current BSIS Guard Card
• · Must be COVID vaccinated
• · Minimum One (1) year security guard experience preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifies situations where security violations have occurred and takes reasonable and prudent action to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and company/customer assets.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Continually required to stand
• Continually required to walk
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
• Continually required to talk or hear
• Frequently utilize visual acuity to read technical information
• Frequently exposure to outside weather conditions

• TWIC Card (Preferred)
