POSITION AT A GLANCE:

• Schedule- Monday - Friday 6 am - 1pm
• Routes will cover Franklin County to Hampshire County
• Basic Requirements-
• Merchandising background in retail
• Experience lifting freight 20 pounds plus
• Must have own vehicle to travel store to store and be insured
• Physical demanding position
• Customer Service

​The Delivery Merchandiser is responsible for assisting CDL Drivers with loading, unloading and delivering products to customer locations on designated routes. In this role, the Delivery Merchandiser is also responsible for stocking products on shelves and in coolers while ensuring that appropriate rotation standards are maintained.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Travel to stores along a sales route and merchandise, display and rotate products according to company standards. Some days you may be riding with a driver and some days you may be transporting yourself to stores to meet the driver.
• Pick up company property and returns
• Reload truck with customer returns, empty shells and pallets
• Provide superior customer service and foster relationships with store management and personnel
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 6 months of general work experience required
• 1+ years of experience working in grocery, retail, consumer goods, warehousing or related field preferred
• Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred
• Must have the ability to repetitively lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, reach above head height, squat, kneel, bend and reach
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
